What do you get when you mix passion, experience, and the true love for music? You get The RAMM Group from Houston, Texas. RAMM’s mantra exemplifies how music should be: united. This innovative group has only been in service since the beginning of the new year, but are already gaining buzz throughout the community. With over 50 years of experience throughout the staff, The RAMM Group means business. Unlike traditional music business affiliates, RAMM’s mission is to unite artists to grow and learn to become successful.
Head of Operations
Kelby Dishman
Kelby has a ton of experience in the music industry. He started out at Underworld Crew, which brought and maintained rave culture to Houston before it was popular. Interning with Liquid Todd at Something Wicked, Kelby noticed his love for music festivals and the impact they had on people. Kelby believed that he could take the Houston music scene to the next level, which resulted in The RAMM Group. Even though RAMM has only been present for about two months, they have already successfully thrown a handful of raves and trap-fests. His future looks bright as he is partnering up with RichKid Entertainment, LLC and Primal Filth to bring Datsik’s Ninja Nation Tour to El Paso on April 4th. He is also planning a huge show featuring Spag Heddy’s first time in the U.S. on April 14th in Houston. Kelby is determined to take The RAMM Group throughout Texas and in to cities like Atlanta and around the East Coast. His main goal is to unite Houston and the rest of the music world with his #ProjectUnite movement.
RAMM Artists
KIN3TIX
Also known as Jermaine Dorsey, KIN3TIX is a resident DJ with The Ramm Group. From Houston, KIN3TIX knows the perfect way to mix EDM, trap, dub, and that signature Houston flair that only locals can master. KIN3TIX embodies dubstep grime similar to early Skrillex. You can catch him throwing down at any RAMM party including The Ultimate Takeover on April 14th.
Lykos Cooley
Lykos Cooley is a DJ that knows how to dirty up the scene. His filthy drops and heavy dub take us back to the early 2000s of underground raves. His sound doesn’t just stop at heavy dubstep. Lykos can transition into trap and electro without missing a beat. One of Lykos Cooley’s best shows was at RAMM’s XXX Trapaganza. Keep Lykos on your radar because he will be dropping his new EP in the near future.
MC Gringo
MC Gringo takes The RAMM Group to a world of slow vibes and soul-felt lyrics. He is RAMM’s only hip-hop artist, but is paving the way for a more diverse artist lineup for the group. His hip-hop style isn’t like the typical Houston vibe, which makes him stand out among the rest. His beats are more cutting edge and represent more of an East Coast sound.
The RAMM Group is taking Houston’s EDM scene to the next level with entertaining events that keep you begging for more. RAMM is planning to take their expertise outside of Texas and are always looking for new venues to book and promoters to help get their mission out to the public. They are always looking to expand their artist base with an emphasis of guiding young artists into the right direction.
When you love what you do and are in it for the music, only success will follow. This is a perfect example of what a lot of hard work and a true passion for music looks like united.
