Grammy nominated house DJ Nic Fanciulli is back for round five of The Social Festival in his hometown of Maidstone, Kent in the UK next month. The Kent County Showground will be transformed into a techno and house paradise with four arenas including those hosted by RESISTANCE and Fabric on the 29th and 30th of September. ‘We couldn’t have made it 5 years without each and every one of you… expect some big surprises, some even bigger production and a huge lineup. I can’t wait to show you what we have in store – let’s celebrate the birthday together,’ Nic Fanciulli said.
After Winter Social and shows in Colombia and Mexico this year, The Social Festival is back for a special birthday edition. The boutique festival announced Bronx dance DJs The Martinez Brothers, South African producer Black Coffee, Israeli underground techno star Guy Gerber and British stalwart Carl Cox in the initial lineup release. Russian icon Nina Kraviz and Canadian DJ Heidi then joined alongside Fabric resident Terry Francis and Berghain resident Function, who is expected to take over the The Barn at The Social Festival.
Resistance’s Meadow stage will be hosted by German techno label owner Monika Kruse and Kent local Tristan Ingram, while the newly added Caravan stage will welcome BBC favourites Sante & Sidney Charles, NYC performer Bill Patrick and European festival icon Nick Curly. UK lad Rob Cockerton, techno favourite Spencer Parker and legends Sasha & John Digweed completed The Social Festival lineup and makes it the best selection of artists Nic Fanciulli has ever put forward.
