Straight out of Australia is this funky track titled “The Final Speech” by a 20 year-old producer named Thomas Jack! The airy, atmospheric progression over the slow piano before the introduction of a soul-moving saxophone played by Adrian Symes is simply brilliant. This entire record flows perfectly, it is overlaid with Charlie Chaplin’s iconic speech from the film “The Last Dictator” – one of the most inspiring speeches I’ve ever heard.
Although Thomas Jack! – whose actual name is Tom Johnston – has seemingly just begun producing music, I sensed a great energy and amount of thought put into each of his tracks and that is a fantastic indicator of better things to come in his future.
