While our parents are still scratching their heads trying to figure out how to claim their free iPad, more and more trap DJ’s are starting to feature those obnoxious internet jingles on their trap mixes. Most recently, Three Loco featuring Diplo, Dirt Nasty and the almost 40-year old Andy Milonakis debuted a song called ‘We Are Farmers’ produced by DJA on August 14th. The tune features the jingle that concludes every Farmer’s Insurance commercial. Even my 59-year-old father who has worked in the music industry his entire life was thoroughly entertained, until the part about dildos and fish food.
The record concerns agriculture, ladies, rin tin tin, sex toys, iPads, teddy bears in butts, Johnny Drama, poodles, cougars, MC Hammer, Ric Flair McLaren, and more, but unfortunately it failed to entertain the Farmers Insurance Executives. As soon as the song was released, Farmers replied back with a friendly “Cease and Desist”. This reminds me of the BrosIcingBros.com website, free PR in my opinion.
