Welcome to week 10 of Throwback Thursday! The weekend is nearly here and we’ve got a Tomorrowland throwback to hopefully make this Thursday go by a little faster! Comprised of Italian producers Carlo Grieco and Peppe Folliero, Daddy’s Groove has been a staple in David Guetta’s production team for several years. The duo also went on to produce and remix tracks for artists like Axwell, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.
Their popularity only grew in 2013 when David Guetta invited them to share the stage to debut their track “Surrender” at Tomorrowland. Daddy’s Groove was joined on stage by Guetta, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, and Steve Aoki to end out Guetta’s set with the song. We’ve managed to find the clip from the Tomorrowland performance, however be prepared as it may induce goosebumps. Give the studio version a listen after and let us know which you prefer :).
