Tiger Stripes, reknowned Swedish DJ aka Mikael Nordgren, is back with a new two-track release Body Trip on Adam Beyer’s label Truesoul. Drumcode’s little brother has welcomed Tiger Stripes back after the success of his Body Shake EP last year in March and this new release will also make your body groove.
The energy that ‘Body Trip’ and ‘Machines’ bring should be the reason you earmark both as essential listening for 2017. While the former adds vocals and percussion to the techno beat, the latter moves in a more futuristic direction to complement ‘Body Trip’. Having produced music for the likes of Hot Creations, Knee Deep in Sound, Drumcode and of course, Truesoul, this Stockholm-based has always been one to watch.
With new releases and tour dates around Europe and the rest of the world to come, Tiger Stripes’ is a significant player in the underground dance scene, especially after collaborating with Kerri Chandler, Adeva, Leroy Burgess, and Jerome Sydenham. Truesoul is a perfect fit for Tiger Stripes as it gives artists the opportunity to be unique but also have support from living legend Adam Beyer.
