Timmy Trumpet and Savage Team Up for Hard-Hitting Single “Deja-Vu”

When Timmy Trumpet first teamed up with Savage back in 2014, their single “Freaks” took the world by storm. The record brought in over 150 million Spotify streams, reached 5x platinum status in Australia, dominated the charts in ten countries, and became the highest selling track of all time on Ministry of Sound Australia (now TMRW Music). The Australian DJ and producer, Timmy Trumpet, had an amazing year while on his international tour and jumped a massive 37 spots in the recent DJ Mag Top 100, putting him at #43. The MC from New Zealand, Savage, also had a pretty epic year himself. 2017 saw his collaboration with Kronic and Far East Movement, “Push,” taking over screens around the world in the trailer for the latest Fast and Furious movie.

Now, the two have made magic once again; this time it’s with their heavy hitting track, “Deja-Vu.” The pounding bass line and massive drops mixed with Savage’s unmistakable vocals combine to make the perfect dance track that’s nearly impossible to ignore.

Timmy is definitely one of the most driven artist/producers that I have worked with, so when he approached me for this record I went to work straight away. I did my own remix of his “Toca” record he put out with Carnage a while ago and he had asked if I could use some of those lyrics for this one. – Savage
