Los Angeles-based British producer Tisoki unveils new single, “HOLD ON ME,” off his upcoming debut album. In a cryptic fashion, the title of the album ‘01953’ corresponds to an area code from the UK. Perhaps it is an homage to where Tisoki grew up or a special memory related to Wymondham. Coincidentally though, Tisoki’s new track also serves as a dynamic ode to the old-school dubstep that he grew up listening to, warping listeners back to that classic UK garage grime vibe as soon as the drums hit
However the breakdown boasts an innovative surprise of cascading melodic synths against an otherwise ominous soundscape; showcasing the producer’s out-of-the-box style. Through his inventive takes on the bass genre, Tisoki has collaborated with the likes of Borgore, Crankdat, and Grabbitiz, as well as garnering the support of major players such as DJ Snake, Excision, and Skrillex. Fans can look forward to experiencing his highly-anticipated debut album and upcoming performances soon. For now you can stream the song HERE, which drops Monday, June 28th via Monstercat.
“‘HOLD ON ME’ is the dubstep track I always wanted to make but never felt comfortable enough to. Now it’s part of my album and I’m really excited to share it with the world.” – Tisoki
