Next weekend is the first ever TomorrowWorld and preparations on the stages are now underway. There will be over 300 acts, 500 acres of space and eight stages set for the 50,000 people expected each day. 35,000 people will be camping on the grounds and a two mile mainstreet has been constructed separating them from the area.
Project Manager Shawn Kent described TomorrowWorld as, “It’s like Disneyland or Disneyworld for adults, it’s on that scale in terms of set design, and amazing feeling of being in a vacation landscape. It’s something of a completely different level that here in the US we’re not really used to.”
Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Georgia was eventually chosen as the location due to the proximity of the airport, landscape of the area and the fact that the 8,000 acre plot is owned by a Belgian carpet manufacturer.
