With 2020 being a great year for Tonner and his release Whispers In The Dark EP, the man has continually rolled the momentum of his success and the passion in his heart into his future releases. Nothing has changed with “Castles,” the single is vibrant and super catchy. In the video, Tonner is front and center, his body language being one of many factors that keep your eyes glued to the screen. The man is animated and is clearly about putting his all into the music he makes.
“Castles,” is the second single off of his upcoming new album Walls Come Down. The album is set to drop this fall and will surely ascend this artist to even higher ranks.
If you dig what Tonner is doing, give him a follow and enjoy the movement he is creating.
“This song is dedicated to friends of mine who have passed away. People I knew from my teenage years, that I can remember learning instruments together and playing our first shows together. It’s shocking when someone leaves before their time. While I don’t personally believe in an afterlife, but I do believe that nobody who’s been loved is ever really gone. They live on in our spirits. For me, this means I’m constantly dedicating myself to be the best I can be, not only on behalf of myself but for those who can’t be here. I know there are a lot of people out there who have dealt with the tragedy of losing loved ones, especially in the last few pandemic years. I wrote this song to try and bring myself some healing and I hope it can do the same for others in its own small way.”
