Get Hyped for Trillectro 2015! [Event Preview]

Trillectro 2015 is just a couple days away and we couldn’t be more pumped. The event’s success through its first three years has allowed it to move to its largest capacity venue, for arguably its most stacked lineup to-date.

In our initial event preview, we took a look at some of the big name performers. For our final warm-up before the festival, we shine the spotlight on the lesser known, but highly talented acts:

Mista Selecta

A fairly new artist on the scene, the young man from Washington D.C. brings a combo of fluid harmonies and plenty of bass. If you want to get your feet moving, be sure to check him out.

Masego

Possibly the most unique act on the lineup, Masego is the only artist at Trillectro who will be playing the saxophone. It’s easy to try to compare him to the likes of Griz or Big Gigantic, but his sound is truly much different — a style he likes to call #TrapHouseJazz.

Tunji Ige

An artist who boasts the skill-set to rap, sing, and produce his own tracks, the young man out of Philadelphia can do it all. With a laid-back style that features smooth melodies, Tunji Ige should certainly be on your watchlist for the festival.

HI$TO

Make no mistake about it, HI$TO’s mission is to bring the party and turn up. The Baltimore native has an impressively large collection of original tracks and will be on a mission to get things poppin’ at Trillectro.
