Trivecta is known for curating a sound that is now coined “folk bass”, grilling top notch steaks, and showing off his music dexterity between melodic bass, trance, drumstep, and the occasional breakout of the guitar during his Twitch streams. By building the bridge between his love of indie-folk and his prism of electronic sounds, the Florida native is carving his own path into the scene to find a platform of his own. Sam Dobkin is easily one of the first artists we associate with Ophelia and the excellence that the imprint has continued to promote.
He has received support from well known bass artists like Excision, The Chainsmokers, and Don Diablo as well as joined other tastemakers such as Illenium, Seven Lions, Dabin, Kill the Noise, and Wooli on tour. Outside of playing with the best of the best, Dobkin successfully hit millions of streams on fire remix of Illenium’s “Fractures” and the massive collaboration on “Oxygen” with Excision and Wooli that saw support from major EDM platforms like UFK and MrSuicideSheep.
Diving into the EP remix pack, Everyday, consists of fire visions from artists such as Nurko, Au5 and Chime, Qrion, and Wooli. Paying respects to the man of the hour, the remix compilation boasts a range between soulful melodic bass from Nurko on “Leave it All Behind” and a fiercely energetic dub flip from Au5 and Chime on “Wasteland”, to Qrion’s progressive house interpretation of “Everyday” that brings an air of mystery to the melody and a passionate powerhouse remix delivered by known collab friend Wooli on “Wasteland”.
