The NYC-based duo T/W/R/K are back again, and releasing a new hit just in time to keep your summer going. After spending some time touring and hitting little festivals like.. Ultra! and touring around Asia and Europe, they’ve made some time in their busy schedule to engineer “Wheels in Motion.”
The track has a distinct T/W/R/K sound, but they’ve mellowed it down a little. Switching away from the “Twerk until your ass falls off” sound, to more of a “move your hips slow back and fourth” sound, and we love it. Add in Lady Bee’s smooth pitched vocals to it, and you’ve got yourself a certified festival trap banger. Clearly we’re not the only ones, since it’s earned attention from none other than Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1, along with Major Lazer Beats 1 show. It was premiered on both this past Saturday, and is now available anywhere you can stream music. It has a DJ Snake vibe to it that we love, which is an absolute compliment, considering Snake has been on fire the last few years.
