Just thirteen hours ago tyDi uploaded the first track off of his forthcoming album, titled “Hotel Rooms”, to SoundCloud. “Gravity”, which features vocals by Carmen Keigans, boasts a brilliant fusion between electronica, ambient, and orchestral styles. Keigans vocals echo over the top of the record – her voice reminiscent of Lana Del Rey – before powerful, emotive drum patterns cue followed by light, relaxed ambient influenced synth layers and a gorgeous melody. If “Gravity” epitomizes what fans can expect from “Hotel Rooms” then I believe we’re all in for a refreshing treat.
