G-House, bass- house, and a dash of downtempo-styled experimental bass all intersect to bring “The Heet,” a cleverly titled track by Tyler Lawrence. With a dark house spin built into it, the well flavored out single could easily be built into any edgy club set in 2020.
With a certain level of visionary juice, a portion of which can be heard on his previous Graves remix of “Deadsong,” Tyler Lawrence now expands on that style and sound in “The Heet,” fusing a certain level of commonality with something fresh and upbeat on this one.
“At the end of last year, life had gotten so fun for me and I wanted to capture that energy I’d been feeling. I’m usually pretty in my feels, so I wanted to create a song that embodied that ‘feel good, let loose, let’s not worry about tomorrow.’ Even now, I feel like people could use something to take them back to that feeling.”
