Recap videos are meant to arouse emotions of nostalgia in their viewers. How the lights shone, how the crowd jumped and sang in unison, how your favorite artists played your favorite songs while the sun set and cast a beautiful glow over the grounds. If you were lucky enough to attend Ultra this year, prepare yourself for what you’re about to watch.
The feelings of being there have settled into warm, fuzzy memories that you will keep with you forever to access when you’re having a rough day. For those of you who have recovered, it may be best to not watch, as this video may cause relapse and send you right back into your post-Ultra depression.
If you weren’t one of the fortunate who were in attendance this year, this video may not make you quite as emotional. It will still provide an opportunity to view the stages, lights, and people of Ultra. Maybe it will be enough to convince you to make the trip down to Miami next year? The track is “Beautiful (Electrocisum Remix)” by Marc Lawrence. The official aftermovie should be released shortly. Check the video out and consider it in your decision next year to be fiscally responsible or break the band on a weekend you’ll never forget.
