Annually, UKF sums up the year in drum and bass with a compilation album, showcasing the best music from the past 12 months. At the beginning of December, the leading bass music brand released the 2017 edition for all of us to enjoy.
You can expect to see a wide range of artists on display here. There was so much great music coming out of the genre this year, that it’s no surprise the album bumps from start to finish. It’s filled with staples such as Andy C, Wilkinson, Loadstar, and Dimension. Make no mistake, their contributions are as great as expected. The album is loaded with pure bangers, like “Black Church” and “Mad In The Jungle.” However, don’t overlook some of the names that you might not recognize. Maduk, Flite, and Hillsdom all impress with their spectacular contributions Also, just to sweeten the deal, UKF included four new singles on the album, headlined by the new release from Hybrid Minds, “Solitude.”
