Ultra is widely known as one of the world’s biggest festivals, taking place in exotic locations across multiple countries every year. Japan’s burning passion for electronic music drew the festival to Tokyo for the first time in 2014. Returning for its seventh annual edition, Ultra Japan will be crashing down in Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park II on Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18.

On Saturday, the Main Stage will be headlined by the three-time consecutive winner of DJ Mag’s Top 100 rankings Martin Garrix. Prior to this guaranteed memorable performance, Dharma Worldwide boss and DJ-producer-songwriter KSHMR is taking the stage, along with Australian multi-platinum live-instrumentalist Timmy Trumpet. The festivities will then spill into Sunday, leading to high-energy sets from platinum-record-selling artist Afrojack, future house superstar Oliver Heldens, and cherished Dutch production genius Nicky Romero. Grammy-winning act Zedd is sure to end the weekend with mesmerizing performance, both visually and audibly.
As amazing as the Main Stage lineup is, it has plenty of competition from the regional talent set to perform at the ULTRA Park Stage. Saturday night will be wrapped up by beloved techno DJ AHREUM, proceeding sets delivered by Yohji Igarashi, TREKKIE TRAX, WAGS, WILD PARTY, Triple D, YOSEEK, and many more. Sunday will feature gifted artists like Allen Mock B2B Herbalistek, DJ Shimamura, AVADOX, Norii, GOLDMAN FOX, MAMOT, and others, with a special closing act from US?Y.
Following the end of the festival on Saturday, Ultra’s one-of-a-kind techno and house music concept RESISTANCE will seize control of Womb Tokyo for another spectacular edition of RESISTANCE Tokyo. The world-class, four-floor nightclub is ready to host the global debut of ‘POPOF B2B Space 92 present: Turbulences’, who will be co-headlining with Beatport chart-topping extraordinaire Julian Jewell.
The riveting French techno acts have performed together a handful of times, but RESISTANCE Tokyo will mark the inaugural performance of their new collaborative project, Turbulences. The duo’s recent collaboration “Control” with UMEK ranked #1 track on Beatport’s Techno Chart and has accumulated millions of streams across platforms. Transporting the sounds of the French underground to Tokyo’s first-class nightclub, this back-to-back experience will offer attendees a never-before-seen show and change the fabric of electronic music history as they pivot into their newly-minted joint effort.
