Chalking up its third release in 2018 is the impressive new kid on the label block, Absent Mind. With its M.O. seeming to be bringing you the best downtempo music from new or as yet to be discovered artists and producers, it’s back again this time with the debut single on the label from Unlovable.
With very little known about them (we do know they’re a duo), there’s an air of mystery around the track, titled “Just Friends.” Musically, it delivers pleasing synth patterns that have an air of the 80’s to them, solid percussive elements and an almost ethereal female vocal that adds atmosphere to the track. Overall, another impressive offering from Absent Mind and Unlovable.
