If you thought vampires are all Transylvania has to offer – think again! It’s time for Untold Festival to reveal the first artists who will turn Cluj-Napoca into the world capital of night and magic for the fourth time. Taking place in Romania since 2015, it has been one of the top European music festivals since its inaugural year and shows no signs of slowing down. With over 70.000 people in attendance last year, there’s no doubt Cluj-Napoca will light up once again on August 2-5, 2018.
The first artist announcement includes “Alphas” Bonobo and The Prodigy as live acts, and DJs Alesso, Diplo, Kygo and Oliver Heldens, who will perform on the main stage situated inside Cluj Arena. Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Steve Aoki make their return after delivering outstanding performances in 2017. Fan favorite Armin van Buuren will prepare for his fourth performance in the capital, after playing an unforgettable 5-hour set that ended at dawn last summer.
If techno is your thing, then they’ve got you covered with players like Solomun, Loco Dice and Nina Kravitz set to perform on the Galaxy stage. Pendulum and Wilkinson will be making their return to the Alchemy Stage, alongside Dub FX, Flux Pavilion, Modestep, and Noisia.
Over 200 more artists are yet to be announced.
Last year marked the third edition of Untold Festival and saw performances from the likes of Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, Dannic, Ellie Goulding and Hurts, who entertained 70,000 people over four days and nights. The festival has become an important Romanian trademark and manages to combine both local lore and tradition with new trends, all while hosting some of the biggest EDM names in the industry.
