This is probably one of my favorite lists I will make all year, the overall quality of the average track that gets put out seems to have increased compared to 2 to 3 years ago in the scene. Making this playlist led to that realization. Such talent up and coming, enjoy our picks below.
Beni – Whatcha Wanna Do feat. Mattie Safer
Beni has released a single packed with a well-balanced amount of lyrics and energy that suits a tech house track. “Whatcha Wanna Do feat. Mattie Safer” has sex appeal and sends out good vibrations – if you are into the genre this is something you will latch on to.
LCAW feat. Dagny – Man In The Moon
“Man In The Moon” pulls you in quickly from just the first few moments. The intro is actually unique, which can’t be said for most electronic songs released, while Dagny adds a head-turning touch with impeccable vocals and melody. This is a chill release with maturity and sophistication. LCAW and Dagny are a team not to be reckoned with.
Murky – Heavy Hearted (feat. Anuka)
Manifesto Records has been killing the promotion game with their releases, combining great tracks with a great network to get the music heard. “Heavy Hearted (feat. Anuka)” goes for a deeper, more chill direction than their past releases, but still fits in the umbrella of what fans expect from Manifesto now.
Limitless – Crystals (feat. RORA)
Tipsy Records is one of the most successful channels to come out of the 2014 / 2015 tropical house movement. A key strategy to their movement is an always evolving base of sounds on the label, but never fully losing touch with their chill house roots that their fans crave, “Crystals (feat. RORA)” by Limitless is a sick extension of this vibe, showcasing forward-thinking elements that hit you right in the feels.
Sam Feldt & Hook N Sling – Open Your Eyes
Two of dance music’s juggernauts have teamed up, Sam Feldt and Hook N Sling, to make a poppy, hybrid-styled song that is almost impossible not to get into. Released on none other than Spinnin’ Records “Open Your Eyes” has a super chill feeling sound design but still delivers an amazing amount of energy. Festival season is right around the corner and there is no doubt that this one will be played out.
StéLouse – Shivers N Gold ft. Mascolo
Stelouse is at a place where he can almost do no wrong, he’s zoned in on his signature sound and slays every production he releases. “Shivers N Gold ft. Mascolo” is the newest addition to the SteLouse discography and get’s much funkier than fans would of predicted. On top of this, the solo artist dropped a music video for this one, you can view the quite excellent video here.
Madison Mars – We Are The Night ft.Sanjana Ghosh
“We Are The Night” is easily the most dreamy and cloudy feeling out of any song on the list, the single was created by Madison Mars and Sanjana Ghosh and combines a Hexagon / Fox Stevenson catchy house drop with an overall good message and vibe. Can’t go wrong with this type of sound right now.
Lipless – Sticks & Stones feat. Gabrielle Current
Ending on an introverted, chill note “Sticks & Stones feat. Gabrielle Current” really takes the cake for a song that catches you off guard in the best way possible and makes you think deep. This song is gentle, easing you into the groove and settling the listener down in no time at all. I had not heard of Lipless or Gabrielle Current before this week, but am glad I have.
Conro – Chardonnay (feat. Karra)
If Monstercat drops future bass, I know I am going to love every bit of it. That’s is exactly why “Chardonnay (feat. Karra)” by Conro captured the moment – easily one of the best future bass releases of the month. The album art well captures the overall feeling of the single, smooth and uplifting. Stoked to see what this guy does next.
