Another week, another ‘Unwind The Mind’ article for you guys to check out over the weekend! Another dose of laid back, brain stirring content that will put you in a relaxed zone. Strap yourself in for another segment of good vibes and even better music!
The Flavr Blue – Majesty
Wow this one is incredibly soft. Chill electronic and R&b influences seamlessly blend together on The Flavr Blue’s new song “Majesty”. The layered vocals they put together on the record are simply superb and I am very glad I was tossed this original the other day because it puts me in a great mood every listen through.
MILA DMNQ – Throw It Back
“Throw It Back” is the definition of a radio-ready hit. Over the course of the new collaboration between Ayo the Producer and MILA DMNQ, the song evolves into a commercial gem that brings the best of both worlds. From a song writing and vocal perspective it’s a pop song, but the beefy Trap production brings it into the electronic world – blend the two together and you get a brainwashing chorus that you’ll be whispering under your breathe all weekend long!
Tim Legend – Waiting On You
Tim Legend is truly a genius for this one! On “Waiting On You”, his Alaya-released single, he put together an emotional but triumphant new original song that will have you feel like you’re floating. The glistening sound design is nothing short of spectacular, keep this man on your map if he’s not on it yet because I see a very bright horizon ahead of him. Enjoy.
Deutsch Duke – Harder Without You (MXXWLL Remix)
Australia is the hub of countless talented producers, songwriters and general musicians. My latest Aussie discovery is Sydney based producer/remixer MXXWLL. His new Deutsch Duke remix is a chill-wave meets future beats take on “Harder Without You” and it’s downright gorgeous thanks to the (what sounds like) funky Kaytranada-influenced synthesizer work that’s being thrown around. Vibes for days on this one!
hunts. x west metro – better days
This song is a month old which to some listeners/readers may seem like a very long time, but in reality it is not that long we’re just too used to the over-saturated market of SoundCloud. Either way, I am late on picking this one up but regardless of that I am highly stoked that I finally came across “better days” by hunts. and west metro because it is a beautiful smorgasbord of sub-genres; electronica, future beats, and a little sprinkle of jazz.
Crywolf – Slow Burn
With Crywolf’s debut LP Cataclasm right around the corner, “Slow Burn” is the last single that will be showcased until the release date on November 20th. “Slow Burn” is one of the sexiest Crywolf singles to touch my ears, his sound continues to mature and grow positively. Mark the calendar, Cataclasm is going to turn heads.
DE$iGNATED – Cyrus The Great
Easily one of the most hypnotic tunes on the list, DE$iGNATED shows off their skill via “Cyrus the Great,” a tune that combines a classic house feel, a great drum kit, a a monotone melody structure.
John savage – Get High
“Get High”, off of John Savage’s intense EP, uses trippy synths, pulsating rhythms, and more to sedate the listener into a comfortable place. “Get High” was my favorite track but each track on the EP has something to offer.
Phoebe Ryan – Mine (Lash Remix)
Lash kills it with this wonderful balance of pop and deep house, he couldn’t of picked a better track to slap this theme on top of. “Mine (Lash Remix)” never gets old and will please fans of the happier side of chill house.
JackLNDN – Summer Never Ends Vol. 2
JackLNDN releases alot of tunes, but the world has been looking forward to the highly-anticipated EP “Summer Never Ends” Volume 2. The EP balances deep-tech sound choice, rhythm and melody in a way that showcases JackLNDN talent for chill tempos and beats.
Son Lux – You Don’t Know Me (Jailo Remix)
Jailo, a member of the reowned collective Moving Castle, has released a remix of Son Lux, setting a new bar for future bass artist to go for. Seriously, “You Don’t Know Me (Jailo Remix)” is top notch.
SMLE – Reasons To
SMLE has dropped their debut EP, after wiping their SoundCloud clean and starting with 3 new tracks, SMLE has taken the underground spotlight quickly, reaching over 100K+ on each tune. Their new EP “Reasons To” comes with two new originals that truly complete the picture.
Monogem – Wait And See (Big Z Remix)
From the album art to the chill disco-esque beat, Big Z’s remix of Monogem’s “Wait & See” is pleasing. This is the first time Big Z has been our site, but we’re pumped to see what he does next.
