With an event tagline of “A Valentines Affair”, Insomniac announces the lineup to its inaugural event Crush. Themed for Valentine’s Day, the very pink and heart-filled poster lists the following for its lineup:
- Laidback Luke
- Tritonal
- Congorock
- Candyland
- Super8 &Tab
- Jaytech
Tickets are priced at $45 for single tickets and $90 for a couple’s pass. Insomniac seems to be reinforcing the scaled-back nature of the event with their new tagline “Back to the Basics”. Insomniac head Pasquale Rotella mentioned how he wanted his events to distance themselves from redundant, pricey lineups; he seems to be keeping his word. Taking place on February 15th, a day after Valentines Day, the event also possesses a very unique theme. The event description reads:
Insomniac invites you to a love-filled Valentine’s Day rendezvous. Whether you already have a dance floor partner or you are looking to find your festy besty, Crush will have the dance floor heating up. Six hand-picked selectors rocking one big room, old school style. Show LOVE, find LOVE, celebrate LOVE.
The love-fueled event is set to be held in Santa Barbara at the NOS Center. Only one room will be utilized, ensuring all attendees will bask in the loving atmosphere of the event. Valentine’s Day just got even better.
