A lot of time, effort, and patience goes into making music. Even more so, we’d like to think a certain chemistry is needed when collaborating on music between two individuals. VAN DUO seem to have the chemistry, laying down multiple tracks together, and they’ve never once met each other. From New York, to Lithuania, the duo effortlessly produce and master tracks from afar, remotely nailing it down and putting it out.
Their new 2-track EP Rotator out now via Martin Garrix label STMPD RCRDS is no different. The title track is a warm, summer feel, reminiscent of chasing the sunrise in your car with the windows down. plump bass and a progressive house build propel the track onward, forcing you to turn the volume higher as it goes. The second track Rewire is thick with 808 bass and stabbing percussion, and intricately laid synths, giving it a very techy and upbeat feel. The EP is a great addition to any summer playlist, and we can’t wait to see what else the two cook up from afar.
