I’ve known of Vaski for a while but ever since the release of ‘Insane’ ft. Ava and ‘Rising’ ft. Caligola I’ve been hung up on his high energy dubstep productions. He has a unique way of working vocals in between his wobbles and I feel that’s what makes his records so unique.
‘Baddest’ is Vaski’s most recent offering and it was released via Burn The Fire Records just a few days ago. As you can expect, it includes a vocal, this time by Betty Borderline. Her lyrics are catchy, deep, and meaningful, but what caught me the most was that the opening of this tune didn’t provide that in-your-face dubstep style. It was pretty refreshing to hear something different, but you’ll notice that as the record progresses the sounds get more agressive.
If you’re a fan of dubstep you should keep an eye on Vaski. He is currently touring with Paper Diamond and Excision – I have a strong feeling it’s only a matter of time until he really blows up.
