Toronto’s Veld Music Festival has just completed its lineup reveal for the third ever edition of the event, which will be taking place this summer over the weekend of August 2-3, and it is pretty safe to say that it will appeal to a wide range of dance music fans. Having already announced a handful of noteworthy Main Stage headliners, which includes highly-prominent figures such as Nero, Knife Party, Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris, and Ingrosso, the festival divulged the lineup for the second stage (dubbed the Bacardi Tent) last week, further heightening the anticipation for the event.
The Bacardi Tent will house performances from an interesting mix of artists to represent a diverse selection of genres and styles, with names such as Gramatik, Griz, Feed Me, Savoy, Green Lantern, Milo & Otis, Overwerk, and Caked Up having been revealed in the first phase of Tent announcements, in addition to Hip Hop artists Iggy Azalea, and Waka Flocka Flame. Yesterday, several more artists were added to the already-stacked lineup, such as Brillz, What So Not, MC Flipside, Hatiras, and DJ Sliink.
Although there was naturally some disappointment at the fact that Deadmau5 has not been listed as a performer, the festival has also announced that Zedd will be playing on the Main Stage of the event. Regardless, Veld Music Festival is definitely shaping up to be quite a remarkable event, which dance music fans of all tastes will not want to miss.
Tickets for the festival are still available here, and the rest of the Main Stage lineup can be viewed below:
