After dropping a handful of artist names last week, VELD Music Festival has revealed the rest of their phase 1 lineup, and it is pretty safe to say that it did not leave prospective attendees disappointed. Industry big-names Calvin Harris, and Sebastian Ingrosso have already been announced as the first headliners of the festival, and to add to the star-studded list, they have announced that Knife Party will also be bringing some serious bass to Toronto this August.
To top it all off, it has been revealed that the esteemed, and highly-respected dance music group, Nero, will also be playing a live set at the event. Many electronic music fans have been waiting on tenterhooks for more news regarding the trio, who revealed a few months ago that they will be releasing a brand new album sometime this year, and were undoubtedly ecstatic to hear about this lineup announcement.
Additionally, the festival divulged that the infamous Martin Garrix will be performing at the festival, as well as prominent Toronto DJs, Mark Oliver, and Manzone & Strong. Already boasting a stellar lineup, there will be even more artist announcements at the end of April to reveal the next bunch of main stage headliners, as well as the lineup for the stage in VELDfest’s Bacardi Tent.
