One of Eastern Canada’s largest, and most reputed electronic music festivals, VELDfest has released its highly anticipated phase 1 lineup of DJs and producers who are set to hit its main stage this August. In its 3rd annual year, the festival has brought in a slew of performers who have never played at the previous events, and has announced none other than Calvin Harris, and Sebastian Ingrosso as the main stage headliners. In addition to these headliners, the names of several other distinguished performers have been revealed thus far including:

- DVBBS
- Oliver Heldens
- Dannic
- Tommy Trash
- W&W
- Michal Brun
- 3LAU
- Nom De Strip
Phase two of the main stage lineup will be dropping in the near future, along with the lineup of performers who will be playing in the Bacardi Tent, which, in previous years, has boasted a stellar group of producers of various styles and genres to satisfy the tastes of a wide range of dance music fans.
Set to take place over August 2nd and 3rd in Toronto at Downsview Park, tickets to VELDfest went on sale today at noon EDT, and are selling fast, having already reached the 5th out of 6 Tiers of pricing. The festival is also trying out a new method of ticketing in an effort to simplify the whole process, where prospective attendees are put in a timed online queue while they wait for their turn to purchase their passes.
