Madeon, one of electronic music’s youngest stars, publicly confronted Vengeance Sound, one of EDM’s most widely use sample outlets, about a possible sound theft on July 20th, 2013. He did so in the most respectful, non-confrontational way. By elegantly addressing the problem, uttering a few jokes and finally reaching out through email, both parties were able to figure everything out.
Later that day Madeon tweeted again, this time clearing the air and letting fans know that the situation was handled.
A lot of valuable lessons can be learned from this young 20 year old artist. WhiteRaverRafting was stunned by how brilliantly this situation was handle, as it’s easy to lose your cool when people allegedly steal from you.
