Viceroy, aka “Mr. Summertime All The Time” showed up to Cities Restaurant & Lounge last weekend in DC, sporting his signature summer shorts and ready to host one of the coolest brunch parties DC has seen in some time. With Chik-fil-a supplied for all the hungry partiers in attendance and bottles of champagne in abundance, it was a sunny day affair that turned into a Halloween soiree as the sun set out of sight. It’s not too often you find the perfect combination of good food and better music, but Viceroy knew how to bring it.
It was a crowded day with a great turnout for this Halloween extravaganza. The costumes brought an eerie feel that shined authentic Halloween vibes, creating a splendored ambiance that tinged of mimosas. As the summer vibes radiated from Viceroy’s music, the crowd became quickly engaged, tuning out the chatter and embracing those summer house tunes that Viceroy is known for.
“Halloween can parties can often be repetitive. Between the open bar of chick-fil a and my DC fans, DC Brunch Club was such a great time.” -Viceroy
Viceroy strikes me as a wonderfully geniune artist with a great demeanor, and he heavily showcased that as he took the stage and roamed around the party, engaging with attendees as he went. The energy that bounced from him to the audience and back was exhilarating, so if another chance to brunch with the sultan of summer presented itself, you could bet we would take the opportunity yet again in a heartbeat.
