Being shown plenty of attention right now on Universal Sweden is a gorgeous remix from the production studio of Kid Arkade, an outfit who first emerged a couple of years ago. They have spent some time building up a reputation for themselves, both by creating original material and remixing the likes of Sia and Tom Odell.
Their most recent sound comes to us inspired by one of Sweden’s most exciting acts, Vigiland. Kid Arkade have opted to take “Let’s Escape,” a punchy progressive/bounce house single, and make it their own – which they do so in impressive style. Ensuring they don’t lose that singalong quality of the track, the pairing loop in some softer tropical energy, highlighting the layered melodies and keeping things moving forward with just enough rhythmical emphasis.
