New Orleans’ most premier Halloween weekend festival has just unleashed its 2016 lineup. The three day festival slated to take place from October 27-30 will once again take over City Park in New Orleans. Last year we saw the festival taking place from October 30-November 1st. Although rain and thunderstorms plauged 2015’s final day and forced a cancellation, the festival was smooth sailing otherwise. Despite the earlier dates for 2016, it’s more than likely Halloween costumes will still be out in full force. This years lineup will consist of a mix of hip hop, electronic, and indie acts.
We will see performances from headliners Tool, The Weekend, and Arcade Fire. Some other performances will include Excision, The Chainsmokers, Alison Wonderland, Band of Horses, Porter Robinson, Kevin Gates, Slander, and What So Not. The festival will feature over 65 bands taking place across four unique stages. There will also be carnival rides, bars, concessions, and local vendors providing New Orleans cuisine. Another interesting fact is that there is unlimited re-entry into the festival, something that is generally unheard of.
Tickets for this massive Halloween party are on sale today and can be found here. GA tickets are $140 before fees, a relatively cheap price when being compared to other three day festivals around the nation. VIP tickets can be purchased for $400 before fees and include a wide variety of perks.
