From the first moment of VOVIII’s remix of “Haven’t Said,” you just know it’s going to be a heavy-hitter. The bass hits with an over-the-top roar and progressively becomes more complex, the second drop even outdoing the first. VOVIII’s remix has the cleanest production, with crisp beats, excellently placed percussion accents, and ominous vibes.
VOVIII — pronounced “five oh eight” — is a duo out of the Boston area known for their hybrid trap style and wild live sets. They gained serious notoriety from their Spinnin’ Records release “Pound That” last year.
