In November of last year we caught wind of Waka’s EDM album project through an interview between Mr. Flock Flame and HotNewHipHop’s lovely Jen DeLeon. That was after the hip-hop superstar went on a lengthy US winter tour with the likes of Steve Aoki and released “Wild Out” with Borgore & Paige.
It seems that Waka has been diving directly into the electronic dance music lifestyle, in an effort to get a feel for the movement in order to properly write his album, “Flockaveli Psychotics” – which is set to drop after “Flockaveli 2”. Now, I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t excited and interested in what Flocka and his camp will produce. WhiteRaverRafting’s expectations are high and we’re envisioning something along the lines of hype-y electro trap – but who knows. The beauty of this crossover is that anything is possible, and while many will disregard Flocka’s efforts, we encourage EDM lovers to listen with an open mind.
With that being said, yesterday – March 23rd, Waka Flocka Flame uploaded a short video clip to his Instagram account that teases his forthcoming EDM styled single. The record is titled “Buss” and here’s how he captioned it: “My New #EDM single #Buss produced by Colli Park and Mayhem #FlockaveliTwoOnDaWay“.
