North Carolina Bass duo Warez released this heater of a remix last week.
A new take on “My Energy” by Stratus (feat. LaMeduza), Warez has transformed this drumstep power ballad into a filthy trapstep track that could be from a Skrillex set. The vocal harmonies in the intro suspend you until the drum track comes in, then it’s game over. Distorted synths and powerful snares make for a Trap section that will get you moving. After a little break, Warez adds a little dubstep for the final section before the song’s energy plateaus and fades. These guys only have around 2K followers, but they are putting out tracks that is main stage material. We’ll be eagerly awaiting the next release from Warez.
