Birmingham was the place to be for the Warped Pre-Party that took place at Old Car Heaven including performances by Illvis, Levitation Jones, The Widdler, and G Jones. This night was filled with amazing music and good times that were brought to you by Sweet Science Radio.

The night began with a performance by Birmingham native, Illvis, who started with a bang. He came onto the stage filled with energy and pumped up the crowd like no other. Illvis knew exactly what his fans wanted and how to please them and he did not disappoint.

After Illvis was none other than Levitation Jones. Jones took the stage by storm as he began with his deep, dark wubs and filled the room wall-to-wall with bass. He took the crowd for a ride throughout his set with ups and downs of darkness and light. He teased the crowd with a build-up of none other than “What” by Bassnectar, only to drop it into his original banger “New Kid” off his Transgentleman EP that came out earlier last year. Jones had an amazing performance and it was over too quickly.

The Widdler was up next, and the crowd was not prepared for what he had in store. He brought down the house with some dirty, bass-filled wubs, and he did not stop. The Widdler supplied the crowd with banger after banger, and the crowd was quite pleased.

G Jones closed out the night like no other. He played some old hits, like “Don’t Hate The 808 (Remix),” “Fuck What You Heard” and also some new material which will be released on his new EP later this month. G Jones incorporated many new sounds as well as old tunes into this show which is what made this performance such a memorable one.

The Warped Pre-Party was a night filled with good music, good people, and great art being painted live from the amazing artist Lex Newtho. It was a wonderful evening thanks to Sweet Science Radio, and hopefully it will return to Birmingham next year.
