With the electronic music scene having been pushed to the attention of the mainstream media over the past year, we have seen a slew of prominent DJs and producers making debut appearances on national television as of late. Yesterday, we were thrilled to report that the renowned British dance music duo, Disclosure, would be giving a scheduled performance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”, along with vocalist Sam Smith. Last night, the three artists put together an incredible live rendition of their highly-successful tune “Latch”, which definitely did not leave fans disappointed. The presentation of this song was delivered in a very innovative manner, pushing the boundaries of live dance music performances with keyboards and drum sets, harmoniously accompanying Sam Smith’s lush vocals.
Many dance music fans would agree that Disclosure more than deserves this kind of exposure to the broad audience of the show, with the duo bringing a fresh, and distinctive sound to the scene, and their highly-acclaimed album, “Settle” having dominated 2013.
