Attendees of Summerland Festival in Cartagena, Columbia received a good scare on Sunday, when what would have been an elaborate, and magnificent pyrotechnic display malfunctioned during Nicky Romero’s set. The fireworks seemed to have gone off too early, resulting in an explosion over the crowd which brought down parts of the stage, and a fire can be seen in the right corner. No one in the crowd appeared to have been injured from the calamity, and Nicky Romero expressed on Twitter that he, too, was alright:
Being a very dedicated performer, Nicky finished playing his set despite the commotion, although it must have been a rather disappointing way for him to be celebrating his birthday at the festival, which was the day after. Unfortunately, Wolfpack, as well as Dimitri Vegas and his crew were not so lucky so as to avoid injury:
