Wavefront Music Festival Announced (July 5th, 6th & 7th – Chicago’s Montrose Beach)

If you’ve been into electronic music for a while, you know that few places have as many awesome shows as The Windy City. This upcoming July will see the second year of Wavefront Music Festival and we couldn’t be more excited. Spanning three days of beautiful summer weather in Chicago right on the sands of Lake Michigan at Montrose Beach, this festival will bring the bliss without breaking the billfold. Wavefront will be held from Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7th, making this a weekend you should cross off the calendars as taken for partying.

Last year WMF had its very first appearance and astounded more than 40,000 fans from all over the country as they partied to a solid lineup of the best names in techno and house such as Boys Noize, Duck Sauce, Eric Prydz and MSTRKRFT, to name a few.

This year, Wavefront is doing it up even bigger. Going from two to three days with four stages isn’t the only plus for ragecases in the Midwest and all over the country. They’re augmenting the experience this year by bringing in artists spanning the spectrum of EDM sounds, from progressive house to electro, indie to dubstep and everything in between.

Breaking Wave pre-sale tickets are already on sale in very limited quantity, and for only $75 for a three day GA pass, if you are passing this opportunity up – you’re going to be missing out on what NBC Chicago named “one of the top five parties of 2012.”
