LA based singer, songwriter, and producer Oliver Tree has been making some serious waves in the electronic community. He’s collaborated with several up and coming artists like Whethan, Louis The Child, and Getter. However, he’s not just some vocalist appearing on a few tracks. He can play multiple instruments, song write, rap, and produce. The Huffington Post has even went on to call his work “an enigma of a genre”. In addition he recently made his live performance debut at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands this year.
When you pair this rising star with fellow producer Whethan, you’re bound for a hit. The two collaborated not long ago on “When I’m Down” and “All You Ever Talk About”. The tracks make for perfection by swiftly incorporating Tree’s songwriting skills with Whethan’s production talents. Their most recent collaboration on “Enemy” appears to venture more towards Tree’s rapping with well inked lyrics to accompany the production. Sadly, the release is just under two minutes in length and you’ll likely be craving more as the track wraps up. Stay tuned for more Whethan and Oliver Tree releases as we can be sure it won’t be long.
