Crushing. That is one of many words that can be used to describe WHIPPED CREAM’s first track in nine months. “Blood” is her newest bass-dubstep track that is guaranteed to make rounds in the dubstep scene for the rest of the year. Given the unique style of the track it’s not hard to wonder why the release came on Zeds Dead’s famed Deadbeats label. Since releasing her Persistence EP last year, WHIPPED CREAM aka Caroline Cecil has been performing all over the world at shows and festivals such as Electric Zoo, Shambhala, Audiotistic, and HARD Summer. With the release of the “Blood”, it’s clear that Cecil has no intentions of slowing down her 2018. Here’s what Cecil had to say about the track.
This is my first original record in 9 months that I will be sharing. I took the last 9 months, to properly project what goes on inside my mind and put it into my music and I’m really happy I did that as I grew a lot more into my higher self. I have always been inspired by world sound and cinematic sound. Blood is a perfect blend of both yet also maintains an energy the human body will move to. Im really happy to start this next chapter with this song and finish this year off with more of my new music, each of which tells their own story. WHIPPED CREAM SZN is officially here – C
