WhiteRaverRafting and GlowU Team Up to Bring EDM to Your College Campus

How does having your favorite resident Glow DJ’s and special guests performing at your college campus sound? WhiteRaverRafting.com has partnered with GlowU – a branch of the widely popular DC nightlife group Club Glow – to bring college campuses in the DC/Maryland/Virginia region a series of dance music events during each semester. GlowU will also be providing exclusive access to the best nightlife events in DC through Club Glow.

October 19 marks the beginning of our new endeavor, with the first event being held at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia at Adona Music which is located right off campus. The theme is ‘MadiGlow in the Dark’ so make sure you wear your best neon outfit! Glow residents Baker & Atkinson will be spinning, and the lovely Glow Girls will be in attendance as well. We have established partnerships with bars and restaurants around the event location to host a number of GlowU pregames prior to the show. Before the first event on the 19th, @GlowU and @Raverrafting are doing a series of give-a-ways via Twitter. Check out the details for give-a-way contests #1 and #2 and tweet away!

1. Tweet a picture with a brief description explaining why you and your closest friends deserve a free semester pass to each of the GlowU events at JMU. Include both @GlowU and @RaverRafting with ‘#letsGLOW’ to be submitted. Two lucky winners will win a four (4) pack of GlowU JMU semester passes as well as some free Glow and WhiteRaverRafting swag.
   
2. Tweet @GlowU and @ClubGlow with the name(s) of the artist(s) you want @ClubGlow to bring to JMU next semester. Tweets with the most creative reasoning will be picked out and voted on by our GlowU campus reps and Glow staff. The three (3) top picks will each win a free pair of tickets to the first GlowU event on Friday, October 19th as well as some free Glow swag.

DJ Contest – all student-DJ’s are eligible to enter

• Each contestant will submit a 30 min pregame mix (uploaded on SoundCloud) highlighting their style and sound.
• The mix MUST BE TITLED ‘GlowU MadiGlow Pre-Game Mix: DJ _________’.
• This is a two level contest: the 3 mix’s with the most listens will be judged and voted on by the GlowU JMU campus reps and Glow/WRR staff.
• The winning submission will be featured on glowu.com, win free event tickets to a show in DC and the opening slot for the event on 10.19
• Submissions must be sent (link, dj name and brief bio) to info@glowu.com NO LATER than Sunday, 10.14

Golden Ticket Contest –  win VIP event passes + dinner and drinks with the artists!
