Aleksander Vinter, better known as Savant, lives his life with a form of autism called “Savant Syndrome.” Defined as a “a condition in which a person with serious mental disabilities, including autistic disorder, demonstrates profound and prodigious capacities and/or abilities far in excess of what would be considered normal.” When it comes to his production, I refuse to use the word “disability” or any of it’s synonymous forms. Savant is an uncanny gift to the entire dance music community, connecting through the universal language of music.
His production is beautiful, diverse, and an immaculate display of eclectic creativity. Nu-disco infused dubstep and melodic electro house – glitchy upbeat dance beats with an underlying bass pulse. Music snob or the virgin edm listener, this is an absolute must for the library.
