In October of 2013 Paris Hilton released “Good Times,” a single off of her forthcoming studio album, through Cash Money Records. The tune managed to break the top 20 mark on the “US Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs” chart. Shortly after its release, the electronic dance music community was surprised to learn that the record was written and produced by Afrojack. Many people had claimed that Nick, Afrojack, had “sold out,” though, today we learned the story behind this production thanks to Afrojack 24/7.
You ever wonder why Afrojack made that song with Paris Hilton?
Well heres what really happened. Back, a LONG time ago Paris asked him to make a beat, but it was very long ago. Probably in 2011? Its not that he wanted to or not want to but he thought to himself what would his mom think or say if she found out he wasnt willing to help a friend out. He said that he was raised better than that and that when a friend asks for help you go and help them regardless of the backlash from others because friends are there for other friends no matter what. So when the song finally came out last year Nick didnt really think much of it because he knew that beat was very old, and it was done as a favor for Paris before she ever decided to become an artist of any sort. So before you go saying Afrojack went and made that beat recently or that he sold out, i thought you should know the real story. You should always help friends who have helped you. His mom taught him to take care of the ones who take care of you and thats how that song came about.
