Just before we said farewell to 2019, the valiant producers Will Clarke and Huxley joined forces to gift us with a deep techno thriller — and we’ve been loving on this one hard all throughout the new year.
Out now on We Are The Brave, Love Somebody is a fierce two-track EP with a double dose of domineering tunes. The title track delivers sturdy, rolling drum programming and symbolic vocals, laced with quirky acid lines and atmospheric pads that contrast the deep, brooding grooves. Then “What To Do” sweeps in to develop the groove into a rapid fire pace that’s speedy, gripping, and makes for one absolute techno stomper.
This release comes nearly one month after Will Clarke announced the creation of his brand new techno label All We Have Is Now. Here, the Detroit-based, Bristol-native will be releasing tracks in his newly transitioned sound and provide a space for similar up-and-coming producers to do the same.
By the sounds of Will Clarke’s latest beauty with Huxley, we’re excited to see what his new label has in store for us.
