Earlier this month, Will Sparks released his latest in the progression of Melbourne Bounce. One of the pioneers of the genre, Sparks keeps coming up with variations that keep pushing the sound further.
Released on December 4th on Blasterjaxx’s label Maxximize Records, “Bad Connection” combines classic Melbourne Bounce elements into a jumpy and somewhat haphazard product. This big room tune brings pounding bass and funky horns and encourages you to shuffle around the dancefloor.
Melbourne Bounce is known for being high energy and not taking itself too seriously. This track embodies that mentality. The vocal is not going to win a Pulitzer, but it contributes to a song that gets you out of your seat and having fun.
