Australian vocalist Winston’s latest Idiocentric mixtapes offers a daring take on electronic music. Singing over hand-selected tracks from Ta-ku, Sbtrkt, StéLouse, Feki, and Wilsonn’s longtime friend Touch Sensitive aka The Pizza Guy, Winston adds his own energy and meaning to each original piece of music. Leading the charge is “Touched”, one of the mixtape highlights. Taking a What So Not favorite and flipping on it’s head, Wilsonn creates an edit/cover that shows respect to the original song while completely re-imagining it. Singing passionately about the way artists and fans touch each other’s lives.
