In less than 48 hours, one of the greatest house DJs (by any measure) will touch down in our nation’s capital to perform at its newest local favorite venue. Since beginning his mastery of sound at the young age of 15, John Digweed quickly became a pioneer for the electronic music industry. Early on he caught the attention of Sasha, a very well known house artist of that time, with the success of his raves on the Hastings Pier where he hosted artists like Carl Cox and The Prodigy.
From there his career snowballed into an award winning musical powerhouse. Today, it’s not often we have the opportunity to see such an influential artist in an intimate setting like Flash but thanks to the people at Nu Androids, we will tomorrow.
But John Digweed is much more than a DJ. Bedrock – his record label, promotions company and production partnership with Nick Muir – is a mothership of creative ingenuity and integrity that other labels orbit around.
