Wish I Was is a relatively new name on the electronic scene. You’ve may have never heard of him, but you probably have heard of his main project, Tydi. Tydi has been staple on the progressive house scene for sometime now and has solidified himself as a premiere artist. However, he’s been releasing some fresh tracks under Wish I Was for about a year now. The tracks generally lean towards a softer, yet darker side of house not previously seen in Tydi’s releases. Here’s a brief description about what Tydi had to say about his newest side project.
Wish I was is a side project that shares a darker story of a musician’s mind. When I first started this project it was simply a place for me to vent, I’d write songs in the middle of the night and recklessly upload them on Soundcloud.
Wish I Was has released several collaborations with Cameron Walker, Olivia Somerlyn, and even The Ready Set. Just today, Wish I Was’ latest track with Cameron Walker was released. Lush chords, guitar, and a little piano fused perfectly with Cameron’s beautiful voice. Chopped vocals in the drop add a relaxing groove to the already chilled out melody. Sit back and relax and let this fresh tune overtake your body.
