In wake of his recent “Smasher” EP, Firepower Record’s own Getter comes at us with a fiery remix of Proper Villains & Reid Speed’s latest, “WLTB”. He gives this hip-hop infused track the Getter treatment with a heavy dose of filthy wobble and gritty bass.
I’m personally a huge fan of the combination of hip-hop, rap and dubstep, with this track reminding me a bit of when Zeds Dead and Omar Linx joined forces. Getter’s remix finds a nice balance between keeping the trap-like sound of this track with the snares and hi-hats and also adding in heavy wobble as well. I hope to see Getter continuing to try this style, because it seems to fit him very well. This is forthcoming on Play Me Records and a full release will be coming soon.
